The UBC MOA recently underwent a complete rebranding. The new direction of the museum is bold, contemporary and global. The new logo was inspired by the concurrent evolution of nature and human culture and the universal concepts of beauty and balance.

 

This magazine insert was designed to introduce the reader to the new, more contemporary MOA and reflect the inspiring brand essence.

 

Inspired by the Fibonacci sequence and the 'golden ratio,'  I sought repeating circular patterns found both in the university gardens outside the museum and the world art displayed inside. Full bleed photos in each spread echo the spiral logo: the universal circle that ties us all together.univ
